ABOUT THE ROLE
The Treasury Assistant is an entry-level financial professional who supports the SBA's Finance team in routine administrative and operational duties. This role is key to keep the SBAs financial records accurate and financial tasks running smoothly on a day to day basis.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Accounts Payables
* Review payment requests and supporting documentation
* Support in processing payments to international and local providers, maintaining the company's financial reputation
Account Receivables
* Support the invoicing process through Xero.com
* Account receivable management
Bank Reconciliations and Accounts
* Support in matching internal financial records with actual bank statements
* Assist with expense reporting of corporate credit cards
* Contribute to monthly reporting of cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other key financial indicators
* Support in continuous internal auditing processes
Administration
* Database Management: Meticulous logging of financial data, bank statements, and other financial supporting documents
* Maintain continuous feedback with supervisors throughout all financial processes
* Support in cross-interaction with all teams, providers, and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* 1+ year of experience in accounting or finance roles
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to stay focused during high-volume periods
* Comfort working in a fully remote, internationally distributed team
Preferred
* Experience with Xero.com or similar accounting platforms
* Ability to manage competing priorities calmly during peak seasons
